Pet Accidents, Allegeries!

Well I have a solution for you, just decide one day to go out & buy new/fake hardwood floors for your living & dining rooms. And that’s what we did. We picked a Swiftlock red cherry from Lowe’s. I brought the flooring up on my way home from work in NJ.

Day 1:
We then started on Saturday with taking up the lovely green carpet.

The orginial flooring from years ago.

So then we started with the Plywood.

Then we finished the day with all plywood floors for the night.

I must say we did alot for one day. Not uncluding taking up tac strips & old staples from the green carpet & the previous shag carpet that was there.

Day 2:

And so it begins.

And then it ends for the living room in a few weeks we will get the time to do the dining room as well.

  1. I LOVE THE FLOOR! What a good idea. It looks beautiful. We will have to come over soon to see the finished dinning room.

  2. Hello
I must say, you have good taste in flooring choices. We fell in love with this same flooring, rich color, look and feel and price. Any tips or cautions before we buy it? What price per sq. ft. did you get if for?
