More thinking on the kitchen but now with a view in color but still going back & forth on what color tone the cabinets should be. Only thing I know I want for sure is a slate floor. The picture does really sure the color tone I would like for the slate at all.

The view is also missing the micro hood that would go above the stove but under the cabinet.

but it’s missing the other 2 doors in the room but you get the general idea.

So we have major appliances coming but don’t have the kitchen anywhere near remodeled or ready for the new things. But here is another idea for a new layout for our old tired kitchen. The real question & answer will be what we can get done & ready for them by Saturday. We will see! Hoping for the best but knowing it won’t be that good.

Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! That’s the kind of presents the house will be getting delivered on Jan. 3rd 2009. Yesterday we decided to treat ourselves & the house to new appliances. Our stove is a “Hot Point”, which I didn’t even know was a brand and it has been slowing getting worst. Burners have stopped working or only sort of work and the temp of the oven isn’t exactly what you think you set it to.

So on Jan. 3rd a new Kenmore stove & ice box will be delivered with the removal of the old. Later on Jan. 28th we will pick up our back-ordered micro hood for our kitchen. So we have a week to figure out where the new stuff will go plus we need to run a water line for the ice maker & water dispenser.
